Gifts For Our Wedding Party

For the Girls

For my girls, that was TOUGH! I wanted them to symbolize what each of the girls represented in my life. So here's the meaning on those:

Matron of Honor: A Steve Madden watch. She has been there for me time and time again over nearly 10 years. Our friendship has stood the test of time.

Bridemaid (Katie): She has been a ray of sunshine in my life for years. She always reminds me to look on the brighter side of life! So I gave her a sunflower pendant. Sunflowers are also her favorite flower, so that worked out well!

Bridesmaid (Erin): Erin and I became friends this year through my brother and so for her, I found the gift of a new friendship. Hence the tiny red pendant that looks like a wrapped gift!

For the Guys

For our guys, we gave them each other gifts, but decided to get them each a fun set of cufflinks that were geared specifically to them. Chicago Bears for one, Denver Broncos for another, Baltimore Orioles for another, and Cinderella's castle for our Disney loving friend!

The Guy's Actual Gifts

Groomsman (Bill): He joked that he would be one of our groomsman only if we promised his GM gift would be a plastic flask, so he could sneak around with it! LOL Well we found this cute Jack Daniels MINI flask that you can hook right to your belt loop! So we got him that and personalized it with his initials and also bought him a simple plastic flask!

For Our Officiant/Friend

We found the price for an officiant to be completely outrageous for someone to stand there for 10 minutes. So we asked a very good friend of the groom who is very outgoing if he would consider officiating for us! He went through the process to become ordained online and he put his heart into doing an amazing job officiating for us! On the day of, he was great! We had compliments galore about how genuine he was and what a great speaker he was! For him we got a personalized overnight bag and toiletry case with his initials.

For Our Parents

I found these really nice frames that on the top said either "Your Daughter Always", or "Your Son Always",and below the left side picture was enscribed our birth dates and on the right side was our wedding date! Originally I put in pictures of us just to fill the slots on the right, but I told them that once we got the professional wedding pictures back, we would replace those pictures with a nice one from the wedding.

For My Nephew

For my nephew, we got him a nice safe with his name enscribed on it. He is a pretty good saver for a 7-year-old, so I thought he might like an actual "safe" to stash his savings in! He got a kick out of it!

For My Niece

While my niece wasn't an actual part of the wedding, as she was only a few months old, I still wanted to give her something special for the wedding day. So I gave her her first jewelry box that had her name on it. Then for Christmas, which was just a few short weeks later, I gave her a personalized crystal bracelet that had her birth stone color for the crystals and her name. I also gave her mother a similar bracelet in her own birthstone color, and I also made one for my mom in her birthstone, and put both my niece and nephew's names on hers. I gave all the bracelets on Christmas day.
